CAMP REGISTRATION


Refund Policy

  • All cancellations must be received via email to incamp@lehigh.edu and the camp director from the camp/clinic you are canceling from.
  • You can also mail request via letter. Faxes will not be accepted. Telephone messages will not be accepted.
  • Cancelation requests must include the following information:
    • Camper’s Name
    • Camp Name & Dates
    • Original Amount Paid
    • Reason for Refund
  • All refund requests must be made to the Camp Office at:
    • EMAIL: camps@lehigh.edu plus the camp director from the camp/clinic.

  • The date of a cancellation request shall be determined by the postmark of the letter or the date the email was sent.
  • Cancellations made 30 days or more prior to the start of camp will be awarded a full refund (not including processing fee).
  • Cancellations made 15 days or more prior to the start of camp will be awarded a 90% refund (not including processing fee).
  • Cancellations made 10-14 days prior to the start of camp will be awarded a 75% refund (not including processing fee).
  • Cancellations made 5-9 days prior to the start of camp will be awarded a 50% refund (not including processing fee).
  • Cancellations made the day of - 4 days prior to the start of camp will not be awarded a refund.
  • Some camps/clinics will not be providing refunds of any kind, this will be listed on their specific pages.
  • "Sold Out" camps will not refund cancellations but may transfer the registration to a future camp.
  • No refunds will be awarded to campers who are “no shows' ' (does not attend camp and does not notify the camp office of their cancellation prior to the fourth day leading up to camp).
  • Canceled Camp - If a camp/clinic is canceled, a 100% refund will be awarded to all campers who have pre-registered. The University is not responsible for related costs such as airfare, travel costs, cancellation charges, etc.
  • This refund policy will be strictly enforced with only the “Allowable Exceptions” listed below being given extra consideration.
  • Medical – More than 7 days prior to camp, or after camp has started, the standard refund policy stated above shall apply, however, if a camper cannot participate in camp due to medical reasons the following policy shall be applied to cancellations made 1-6 days prior to camp.
  • For Campers Enrolled in a Day (or Evenings Only) Camp – A full refund, minus the processing fee and a $50 administrative fee shall be awarded as long as a note signed by a doctor is mailed with the refund request to our office postmarked prior to the start of camp. The doctor’s note must say that participation in camp is against his/her medical advice.
  • For Campers Enrolled in a Residential Camp (regardless of whether they are staying overnight) – A full refund, minus the processing fee and a $100 administrative fee shall be awarded as long as a note signed by a doctor is mailed with the refund request to our office postmarked prior to the start of camp. The doctor’s note must say that participation in camp is against his/her medical advice.
  • Death in the Family – If a close family member of the camper (ie. Parent/grandparent/sibling) has passed away suddenly and circumstances make it impossible for the camper to attend camp, then a full refund shall be awarded if EMAIL notification is received by the first day of camp. If this situation applies to you, please accept our sincerest condolences.
  • Injury During Camp – If a camper sustains an injury that does not allow them to continue active participation in camp, the following policy shall apply:
  • No refund shall be given to an injured camper that chooses to stay at camp despite their injury. Many campers do decide to stay at camp and learn by watching the remaining sessions, taking notes, and asking questions. Any campers that would like to stay at camp must be approved to do so by the camp’s athletic trainer. If the athletic trainer feels the camper’s health is at further risk should he/she continue at camp, the camper will not be allowed to stay at camp and will be sent home and offered a pro-rated refund per below.
  • If the camp’s athletic trainer determines that the camper is unable to actively participate in camp activities without further injury or that the camper’s health would be at risk by remaining at camp to learn through observation, a prorated refund shall be offered based upon the duration of time the camper has already spent at camp.
